Housewives’ star Teri Hatcher, who’s opened a web site to prove she’s just folks.

Attending the New York launch of the new site ‘Desperate Housewives DVD,’ draped in a Dolce & Gabanna dress and gold peep-toe shoes that together cost more than most of us make in a month, the urbane 45-year-old told reporters her new blog will be where ‘Teri and friends tell Desperate Housewives DVD set like it is.’

We’re promised free, and largely unsought advice on fashion, relationships and careers — all based on experiences from her own life.

“We graciously take on these responsibilities because we have big hearts and deep wells of Desperate Housewives DVD boxset,” Teri gushed at the Mail about women’s role in society. ”But the weight of all this leaves us craving support of our own. That’s why I wanted to create a resource; A trustworthy support system for women.”

Clearly channeling Gwyneth Paltrow’s obtuse self-involvement about her all-women site, ‘Desperate Housewives seasons 1-5 DVD boxset" Terri was now in the zone;

“GetHatched is about finding your way to the “Desperate Housewives DVD” part,” she enthused. “My desire is to be able to reach lots of women, and supply just the boost they need on any given day.”

Created in league with Disney – who clearly do all the work – the site boasts an interview with ‘Desperate Housewives DVD set’ co-star Eva Longoria Parker, and also gave fans the chance to vote for the deeply unflattering, over-priced toilet roll Teri wore at the launch.

And she’s got plenty of history from which to draw content – An ex Desperate Housewives DVD boxset′ers Cheerleader and passionate angler and golfer, the single-mom has been married twice; Her 1988 marriage to Marcus Leithold crashed in divorce in a year, and her 1994 marriage to actor John Tierney also died in a courtroom in 2003.

She’s now a single-mom to their daughter, Emerson Rose. And that, Desperate Housewives DVD plus the need to wear make-up seems to be all that’s required to tell the rest of the world how to breathe…
