I'll post a full recap later. In the meantime, please use this space to post your comments about "The Ballad of Desperate Housewives DVD."

What the hell was she thinking? I’m sure that was most women’s reaction last week when Susan invited former lap-dancer and stripper Robin Gallagher to move in with her and Mike.

Even Mike thought this was a terrible idea but it pays off tonight in a cute episode that Desperate Housewives seasons 1-5 DVD boxset shows the effect Robin’s dazzling presence has on each of her new neighbours.

You might recognise guest star Julie Benz from Dexter, or as Darla the vampire from Buffy Desperate Housewives DVD

The Vampire Slayer and Angel.

And on the face of Desperate Housewives DVD set, Robin might just seem to be a replacement for that other leggy blonde, Edie Britt, who came to such a sticky end on Wisteria Lane.

But Robin’s sweeter nature hides all kinds of surprises that we discover in a series of separate Desperate Housewives DVD boxset stories tonight.

And after a few weeks of rather gloomy, doomy storylines, this is the funniest episode in ages.

It’s peppered with some real laugh-out-loud one-liners as every man in Wisteria Lane, right up from Susan’s little boy MJ, Desperate Housewives seasons 1-5 DVD boxsetis totally bewitched by Robin.

But it’s Katherine Mayfair on whom Robin makes the most surprising impression of all.
