A little over a month before Desperate Housewives kicks off its sixth season, ABC has released the first and only promotional photo for the upcoming run, showing the five girls with something, from the iconic apple to a stuffed bear.The picture doesn't include the new housewife Angie Bolen, set to be played by Drea de Matteo. ABC has previously announced that the new family will appear in only 10 episodes. Instead, Bree Hodge (Marcia Cross) is shown holding a teacup and saucer, Gabrielle Solis (Eva Longoria Parker) holding a vacuum cleaner, Lynette Scavo (Felicity Huffman) holding a stuffed bear, Susan Mayer (Teri Hatcher) holding the apple, and Katherine Mayfair (Dana Delany) holding a toaster.
"What Wedding, What Way," the premiere episode of Desperate Housewives season 6 on September 27 will promise to reveal the identity of Mike's (James Denton) bride. Both Katherine and Susan were seen wearing wedding gowns on set, but most people tend to think that it's Susan, primarily because of insinuations of a family reunion. But in this day and age, no decent spoiler shouldn't be held without suspicion.
As to what the tea cup and saucer, the vacuum cleaner, the stuffed bear, the apple, and the toaster mean, your guess is as good as mine.
